ATHLETE CHATS |Camille Herron is a multiple World Record holder, World Champion, and is an Elite Athlete for Unived.
Camille Herron entered the Western States in 2019, only 6 months after surviving a rollover car accident and winning and setting a course record at the Tarawera 100 miler. She had previously set World Records for 50 miles, 100 miles, 12 hrs, and 24Hrs, along with winning the Comrades Marathon and 2 World titles. A lingering hamstring injury related to her car accident kept her from finishing the Western States 2019. She recovered during the summer and went on to win the 2019 24Hr World Championship with a new World Record of 167.84 miles.
