Transparency / Product & R&D

Product & R&D.

What we are currently working on in formulation and product development. Updated periodically by the founder when there is something to update.

What's on this page

A current snapshot of products in research, formulation, testing, or pre-launch — not an archive of past reports. The page is updated by the founder when there is meaningful progress to share. There is no quarterly cadence and no commitment to one.

Pipeline disclosure is kept minimal by design. Naming an unreleased product publicly creates commercial pressure to ship it on a timeline that may not match the science. We name what we are working on; we do not promise launch dates.

Section 1

How our R&D works.

Every new product or reformulation moves through four stages before it ships. Some products take a few months; some take years. We do not move a product to the next stage until the previous stage is honestly complete.
Stage 01

Research

Literature review and concept work. Asking whether the product should exist, what evidence supports it, who it would serve. No formulation activity yet.
Stage 02

Formulation

Designing the actual product. Ingredient selection, dose decisions, evaluating branded vs generic forms, supplier qualification, iterating on prototype recipes.
Stage 03

Testing

Pilot-scale production. Stability runs, third-party verification of identity and potency, regulatory and labelling review under FSSAI guidelines.
Stage 04

Pre-Launch

Final production batch, COA generation, packaging, inventory build, launch comms. The product is essentially ready; the timing is operational.
Launched products do not appear on this page — they live on the product catalogue and in the COA Directory.
Section 2

Currently in R&D.

Three products are presently in active development. All three are in the formulation stage — none has yet moved to testing.

Daily Supergreens — reformulation.

Formulation
The existing Daily Supergreens formula is being reworked. Existing customers may be reading this — the formula they currently buy will continue to ship until the reformulated version is ready.

New Energy Gel.

Formulation
A new energy gel formulation, in addition to the existing RRUNN range.

Confidential — innovative product.

Formulation
A third product is in active formulation. Details withheld until launch — naming it would create commercial pressure on a timeline we are not ready to commit to.
No timelines are published. A product moves to the next stage when it is honestly ready, not when a calendar quarter ends.
Section 3

Where else R&D shows up.

This page is not the only place R&D activity is documented. The fuller picture is distributed across a few surfaces.
COA Directory

Every batch, every test result.

For products that have shipped, third-party certificates of analysis are published in the COA Directory — identity, potency, heavy metals, microbiology. The evidence of R&D quality lives in the COAs, not in marketing claims.

Quality & Risk Disclosures

Recalls, supplier risks, regulatory risks.

Where R&D outcomes have gone wrong — batches recalled, ingredients reformulated under regulatory change, supplier qualification failures — they are documented here.

Founder's Letters

The narrative behind decisions.

The reasoning behind specific R&D decisions — why we shelved a product, why we reformulated, what evidence shifted our view — shows up in Founder's Letters when there is something to say.

Individual product pages

Per-product evidence and rationale.

Each Unived product page documents the ingredients, the doses, the evidence that supports the formulation, and any reformulation history. That is the most granular R&D record we publish.
A note on formal R&D reports
As the team grows, we intend to begin publishing formal R&D reports — structured documents with pipeline status, testing summaries, literature reviews, and decision documentation. For now, this page and the surfaces above are how we share what we are doing.
