Who we are looking for

The kind of person, before the qualifications.

Someone with formal training in food science, nutrition science, or
related fields — M.Sc or higher. Equally important: a researcher's
instinct. Someone who reads papers carefully, who is sceptical of
confident claims, who can hold the literature lightly enough to update
their view when better evidence appears.

What this role does

The work, plainly described.

The Food Technologist / Scientist works on the substance of every product we make:

  • Formulation development for new products
  • Reformulation of existing products when evidence shifts
  • Ingredient evaluation — branded vs generic, form selection, supplier qualification
  • Stability testing, dissolution work, bench prototyping
  • Working with third-party labs on identity, potency, and contamination testing
  • Contributing to the Quarterly R&D Reports when they begin publication


This is a science-first role. The day-to-day is real laboratory work, not theoretical research.

A scientist who is happiest at the bench. Someone whose pleasure comes
from a stability run that comes back clean, or a formulation that
finally dissolves the way it should.

A person who reads the latest meta-analyses in their field and updates their internal model accordingly, without ego.

The honest version.

The standard is the literature, and the literature is hard. You will
sometimes have to tell the team that an ingredient cannot be included at
the dose they want, because the evidence does not support it. That is
the job; some people find it difficult.

No shortcuts. We do not use proprietary blends, we do not use cheaper
forms when better ones exist, we do not approve formulations on
commercial grounds. You will be expected to hold that line.

Based in Goa at the manufacturing facility — close to bench work and production.
