Like the rest, Shalomi joined us as a fresher right out of college. In a short span of time, she has grown from data entry, to data creation, to data analysis. Today, she manages our B2B clients, and is being built to handle various aspects of the business.
She has broad shoulders, and is capable of carrying increasing weight. It is still early days, and the jury is still on the fence — but I see all the ingredients required to take Shalomi into a leadership position at Unived. Whether she realises that potential, and whether Unived can provide the platform, will depend on both — her mindset and decisions, and Unived's growth.
School was my happy place. I wasn't the topper, but I was always the monitor or the house captain — I never liked to miss school. I'm an introvert by nature, but I loved singing, anchoring school assemblies, and even teaching my teachers new songs. My twin sister and I left school with nothing but fond memories, and our teachers still love us both.
Junior college felt like a second home. But the place that really helped me step out of my comfort zone was the Parish Youth Group. There, I learned how to communicate, coordinate, and lead. Organizing community events taught me teamwork and dedication, and gave me an extended family that made me more independent and confident.
After graduation, I took a short break and then joined the company on 2nd September 2024, at 21. I started in the operations backend — nervous, but eager. Deepika, my manager, made all the difference. She never bossed me around; she taught me patiently, and we bonded over both having twin siblings. She has always been there whenever I needed help.
Four months in, I got my first big test: the TMM Expo. Deepika and I at the booth, speaking to hundreds of customers. As an introvert, I thought I'd be terrified. Instead, I was excited. Tired by the end, yes — but proud. Hearing customers give such great feedback about our brand made me feel I truly belonged here.
When Amit sir asked if I'd like to handle B2B, it was completely new territory. I said yes, with one condition: that he would guide me. He has, every step of the way — trusting me with responsibility, and working with ethics and discipline. Working alongside him, I've learned to handle clients, plan sales, manage expos, and step into different roles whenever needed.
I love working at Unived not just because of the work, but because of the people. With leaders like Amit sir and Monica ma'am, who helped me shape my abilities and pointed them in the right direction, and a team that feels like family — I'm proud and happy to be here. It's my new home.
