Evidence: High Plant Protein Established for MPS Active-Form Daily Nutrients

This is for you if

  • You take a daily protein and a daily multivitamin separately and want one product to do both
  • You're vegan or vegetarian and want B12, D3, K2-7, and other often-missing nutrients in their active forms
  • You travel often or have unpredictable mealtimes — one scoop becomes the reliable daily nutritional foundation
  • You're over 40 and noticing daily energy, recovery, and muscle maintenance taking more deliberate intake

What changes, and when

  • Wk 1–2 B-vitamins reach steady state — daily energy baseline and morning alertness are often the first felt shifts
  • Wk 3–4 Magnesium effects on sleep onset and depth become noticeable; CoQ10 begins supporting daytime stamina
  • Wk 6–8 Vitamin D blood markers improve; methylation pathways (B12, folate) reach efficient daily function
  • Wk 8–12 Reliable daily protein intake fills the gap most adult diets leave — muscle maintenance and recovery measurably better
  • 3–6 months Compounding benefits across protein adequacy, micronutrient status, and mitochondrial energy — the foundation a daily product is meant to build

Dosage & Rationale

1
Scoop
1 Scoop (38.34g) · 450ml cold water or beverage · daily

Mixing — Mix in a shaker or blender. One scoop daily covers your protein contribution and your daily micronutrient foundation simultaneously. Most adults take it as a morning or mid-morning serving; active adults or those with elevated protein needs may take two scoops on demanding days.

Why one scoop covers daily needs — The B-Complex, D3, K2-7, and CoQ10 in Essential Protein are dosed at 100% Indian RDA — meaning one scoop delivers your full daily target for these nutrients in a single intake. The magnesium contribution is intentionally moderate (25mg elemental); the rest comes from food and, if needed, standalone magnesium supplementation. The protein contributes 25g toward your daily protein target — not your entire daily need, but a substantial reliable portion.

Why morning is the preferred default — The B-vitamin content supports energy metabolism across the day — taking Essential Protein in the morning positions the B-vitamins where they do most of their work. Vitamin D3 absorbs better when paired with dietary fat, which morning meals typically provide. Magnesium is the one micronutrient that performs better in the evening — but the dose here is modest enough that morning intake doesn't reduce its sleep-relevant role meaningfully.

Loading Period: Consistency matters more than precision

Micronutrient benefits (energy, sleep, blood markers) accrue over weeks of consistent daily use. Protein benefits accrue over months. Skipping a day doesn't undo progress; long-term inconsistency means you never reach the steady-state benefit the formulation is designed to deliver.

Anticoagulant medication (warfarin): The 55mcg K2-7 dose is modest but real. Any change in Vitamin K intake — starting, stopping, or adjusting Essential Protein — should be communicated to your physician, who may need to monitor your INR and adjust your warfarin dose accordingly.
Statin medication: Statins reduce the body's natural CoQ10 production. The 51mg of CoQ10 in Essential Protein is therapeutically meaningful for statin users — many physicians actively recommend CoQ10 supplementation alongside statins.
Metformin (diabetes medication): Metformin depletes Vitamin B12 over time. Essential Protein delivers 100% RDA methylcobalamin daily — useful, not problematic, for metformin users.
Methotrexate: Used for cancer treatment, severe psoriasis, and certain autoimmune conditions. Methotrexate interacts with folate. The 300mcg DFE of L-5-MTHF in Essential Protein is meaningful — consult your physician before starting daily use.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: The B-vitamins, D3, K2-7, magnesium, and CoQ10 are appropriate during pregnancy and lactation. However: pregnancy folate requirements rise to 600mcg DFE in the first trimester — Essential Protein contributes 300mcg DFE, half the pregnancy target.
Already taking a multivitamin or separate supplements: Essential Protein contains a comprehensive B-Complex, D3, K2-7, magnesium, and CoQ10 — all at or near 100% RDA. Combining with a daily multivitamin will result in cumulative doses above RDA for these nutrients.
Kidney disease: For adults with diagnosed kidney disease, the 25g protein per serving should be reviewed with your nephrologist.
What this product does not contain: Essential Protein does not contain iron, zinc, calcium, or trace minerals beyond magnesium.
Phenylketonuria (PKU): Contains phenylalanine (1382mg per serving). Not appropriate for individuals with PKU.
Children under 18: Not formulated for routine paediatric use.
Allergens: Free from soy, dairy, gluten, nuts, and added sugar. Manufactured in a facility that processes other plant proteins.
