Advertising & Social Media Influencer Policy

Unived was founded in 2010. Way before the emergence of online marketplaces, and before the arrival of today’s heavily funded competition.

With no sales for the first two years, and negligible sales until 2016, running on empty taught us how to be resilient, patient, and trust the conviction we had.

Zero sales targets and zero pitch decks – we focused solely on R&D, formulation architecture, and innovative concepts.

Over the last few years, the D2C industry has been validated. Brands have sprouted overnight, raised limitless funds at bizarre valuations, and adopted the blueprint of endlessly advertising unsustainable product discounts to acquire customers, with the hope of recovery aided by a long customer lifetime value.

The only time we experimented with Google search engine advertising was for a short period, post COVID-19, when we noticed competition bidding on our brand name Unived, across the top marketplaces as well as search engines. We stopped the ads within a few months, as we realized it truly made no difference to our online traffic, it was a distraction from our core competency, and it proved an unwise use of our limited money.

Our purpose is to research, formulate, manufacture, and deliver, quality products that play a key role in supporting your health regimen. Our energy, and our funds, will solely be devoted to this purpose.

So, unlike the rest of the D2C industry, Unived will abstain from all forms of advertising across Google search engines, as well as social media.

Against our desire, however, we will continue to advertise on the Amazon Marketplace, as ensuring brand key-word ranking is critical in consumers discovering us on this highly contributory marketplace. At the moment, our Amazon AD spend is less than 2% of our Amazon revenue. We aim to reduce that to less than 1%, and eventually to zero, within the next 12-24 months.

Paid Social Media Influencers

Unived does not pay for promotional social media content, be it posts, reels, or videos. We do not subscribe to this fake & dubious method whereby creators who have no scientific knowledge about nutraceuticals, aggressively promote products as though they are magical remedies.

Growth

How will we hold on the current customers, attract new customers, and ensure the company grows? We are obsessed about our customers, and will continue to love, educate, and empower you to make informed health decisions. Organic growth will continue to be our only catalyst.

We firmly believe that the Unived product line is unique and will be discovered at some stage in every person’s life.
