Introducing Elite Running Academy, an institution exclusively dedicated to the development of long-distance runners. Founded in May 2022, the academy has quickly established itself as a premier residential training center in India, focusing solely on the pursuit of excellence in long-distance running.
Founded in May 2022, Elite Running Academy is dedicated to help long-distance runners train & excel. The Academy is one of the very few residential training centers in India focusing exclusively on Long Distance Running & its vision is to produce World Class Distance Runners. Director and Coach Jagadish Shinde, is a marathoner with an impressive track record himself. Jagadish is the Indian Air Force Marathon Champion, a National Masters Gold Medallist, and has achieved podium finishes in several races such as the Vadodara International Marathon and Adani Ahmedabad Marathon.
Within a remarkably short span of one year, the academy's dedicated group of 20 athletes has displayed extraordinary talent, having won a total of 58 podium finishes in prominent races like the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023 (2 podiums), Freshworks Chennai Marathon 2023 (4 podiums), Manipal Marathon (4 podiums), TCS World 10Km Bengaluru 2024 (5 podiums), and Vasai Virar Municipal Marathon (2 podiums).

Jagadish Shinde
I started running at the age of 33 years. I got a chance to attend Marathon and Cross Country Coaching camp for 2 years in Bengaluru where there were also Olympic Players and Coaches. Within two years i became a professional runner despite starting late at age 33 years due to the professional level and structured training program given by my NIS Coach Sergeant Vijay Naidu.
